Satterberg Foundation Advances Wing Luke’s Legacy
Featured in the Wing Luke Museum’s community report for the foundation’s long-term partnership supporting cultural preservation, anti-discrimination work, and community empowerment in Seattle’s Chinatown–International District.

National Philanthropy Day
Invited as a plenary speaker at the AFP Advancement Northwest National Philanthropy Day, exploring the changing landscape of philanthropy and nonprofit leadership, reflecting on building more equitable, community-rooted funding practices and sustaining the work of the sector during times of uncertainty.

CHANGE Unity Summit
Presented “Revolutionizing Capacity Building and Leadership Development: Integrating Healing and Disability Justice” at the CHANGE Unity Summit, a national gathering of nonprofit and movement leaders. The session highlighted the importance of integrating healing-centered practices and disability justice frameworks into leadership development and organizational support.

Statewide Immigration Policy Funder Briefing
Co-designed and convened a statewide philanthropic briefing bringing together 80+ funders across Washington State to align philanthropic response to immigrant and refugee issues. Moderated a policy conversation with Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal examining the national immigration landscape and opportunities for coordinated philanthropic action.

Advancing Equity in Philanthropy
Partnered with RVC on a virtual funder discussion exploring tools and tactics for advancing equitable grantmaking practices, including RVC’s Social Justice League, alongside nonprofit and philanthropic leaders.

Seattle Equity Summit
One of the lead organizers for the Seattle Equity Summit, a community-led gathering created under the vision of C’Ardiss (CC) Gardner Gleser to deepen racial equity practice and strengthen cross-sector relationships across government, nonprofit, philanthropy, and business. The summit convened 500+ participants. In 2020, transitioned to a fully virtual convening centering “Art as Revolution and Social Justice.”

Wellness by Womxn of Color Storytelling Night
Inaugural storytelling night focusing on stories of wellness by Womxn of Color, building awareness around the broad array of narratives on the topic of wellness experienced by AANHPI leaders during COVID-19.

Friends of Little Saigon Community Conversation
Curated and organized a community gathering in partnership with Friends of Little Saigon to celebrate the wisdom and leadership of long-standing community leaders in Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood. Facilitated a multi-generational conversation exploring the past, present, and future of Little Saigon, with attention to cultural preservation and community-led development.

Sound Transit Community Focus Groups
Designed and led a multilingual (English–Vietnamese) community engagement process to inform accessibility and community impact strategies for new Seattle light rail stations. Recruited and coordinated 35 Vietnamese community members across generations and facilitated culturally responsive focus groups examining signage clarity, ADA accessibility, and structural barriers.

Alma Backyard Farms
Juliet with co-executive director of Alma Backyard Farms in East LA. Alma Backyard Farms creates a dynamic opportunity in urban farming for the formerly incarcerated to reintegrate by growing food in and for LA.

Organizing Alongside Farmworkers
Juliet organizing alongside farmworkers in the Inland Empire, CA with TODEC (Training Occupational Development Educating Communities), empowering disenfranchised immigrant communities to become economically, socially, educationally, and civically self-sufficient.

AAPIP Seattle Chapter Gathering at Inscape Building
An AAPIP Seattle Chapter gathering for AANHPI and WOC leaders in philanthropy to create together, nurture connection, and move money home to community, creativity, and local WOC owned businesses. Held inside the historic Inscape Building—once the INS building, now a haven for artists, makers, and dreamers.
