Statewide Immigration Policy Funder Briefing

Co-designed and convened a statewide philanthropic briefing bringing together 80+ funders across Washington State to align philanthropic response to immigrant and refugee issues. The briefing was hosted by the WA State Immigrant & Refugee Funder Collaborative Steering Committee Members.
Moderated a policy conversation with Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal examining the national immigration landscape—titled “State of the Union for Immigrant & Refugees: How Can Funders Aid the Frontlines?”—and explored opportunities for coordinated philanthropic action.
The convening brought together community partners organizing on the frontlines to discuss how philanthropy and government can organize to abundantly resource the region to support the immigrant and refugee community in Washington State.
