Wellness by Womxn of Color Storytelling Night

AAPIP Seattle Chapter presented its inaugural storytelling night, with a theme focused on stories of wellness by Womxn of Color. The goal was to build awareness around the broad array of narratives on the topic of wellness experienced by AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) leaders during COVID-19.
The event featured speakers including Kim Majors (Justice Funders), Saima Husain (Generative Somatics), Tarangtip Baitrojcov (International Community Health Services), Rita Meher (Tasveer), and was moderated by Juliet Le (Satterberg Foundation).
As Co-Chair of the AAPIP Seattle Chapter, Juliet designed annual programming for AANHPI philanthropic leaders and launched the “Wellness by Women of Color” series during the pandemic—creating space for leaders navigating both professional demands and the personal toll of a global health crisis that disproportionately affected communities of color.
